Minutes of a Special Council Meeting

Held on June 4, 2026

Mayor Robert Barnhil called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. at the Village Hall. In addition to Mr. Barnhill, Council Members Neil Benton, Carey Childress, Shirley Jacobs, Judith Katalinic, and Gerald Velie were present. Ms. Mary Bakan, Interim Village Clerk, announced this constituted a quorum. Also present in addition to Ms. Bakan were Mr. Robert H. Corbett. Village Attorney and Ms. Stephanie Moore, Village Planner.

Mayor Barnhill stated the purpose of the meeting was to review the Fiscal Year 26-27 budget. There was a discussion of the budget needs, and tax rate, but no action was taken.

There being no further business, the meeting stood adjourned with objection
